Services 

We are a non-profit private practice offering therapy, assessment, and consulting services. Currently we have one clinician offering psychology services at a rate of $210/hour, with assessment services ranging between $1000-$3000+ depending on the complexity of the referral question and required time and materials.  

Business Model 

We are a non-profit private practice offering therapy, assessment, and consulting services. The Nest is a social enterprise, which is a business that is operated by PEI Family Violence Prevention Services (FVPS). A portion of the fees charged within this practice go to supporting FVPS programs such as emergency shelter and outreach. We do not require our clients to have experiences of family violence, but we do operate in alignment with the organization’s values of trauma informed care and prevention. Through fee-sharing in exchange for office space and administrative support, the Nest expands access to private practice psychology for the general public, while raising funds to support those experiencing family violence. 

 
Hours and Locations 

We offer in-person services at existing FVPS Outreach offices or over Zoom for clients across Prince Edward Island. Appointments are available in Summerside on Tuesdays and in Charlottetown on Wednesdays.  

Hours of service are typically 9-4pm. Limited evening appointments are available for those who have barriers to daytime services.
